I worked in a law firm for 7 years and then in 1999 went in-house at Guardian Industries in Auburn Hills. I love my job - I get to travel to interesting places around the world and I also get great Pistons tickets since the team owner is my boss. I have been married for 11 years and have two children - Maia (8) and Aaron (6). I spend a lot of time with them and also repairing my "character-filled" (i.e., old)home. I finished my BSN from EMU in 1991, then headed to New York City and have been here since. I got my MPH from NYU and I'm currently running the pediatric intensive care unit at Mount Sinai Hospital. I travel to out of the way places whenever I can, and I volunteer for an organization called Heart Care International. As a volunteer I get to travel to developing countries and help do cardiac surgical repairs on kids with congential heart disease. It's great to read the other "bios" on this website and where everyone is in their lives. Personally, I currently live in Farmington Hills and have been married for almost 13 years to Jennifer (Southfield-Lathrup 1987) and have two kids; Abbey 10, and Ben 6. I graduated from Eastern Michigan with a BS degree in 1993 after serving three years in the Army(Ft. Bragg, NC) and continued as a reservist while attending college. My reserve duty included a 6 month tour in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. I have worked in finance for about the last ten years and currently employed as an Underwriting Manager for Origen Financial based here in Southfield. I admit that I'm genuinely happy to hear how well everyone is doing. I'm married Joe- Kimball class of 85 (15 years!) with 4 kids. Natalie (11), Hannah (9), Jackson (6), and Kate (5).(yes, we're done) I'm the glamorous "at home mom", and I've managed to see Duran Duran twice in the last 2 years. I live in Bethesda, Maryland outside of Washington, DC. We bought a house there a year ago. I got married to Marguerite Fischer, who hails from New York. Last year, we had a beautiful baby girl, Sophia Rose Hoffman. She's 18 months old now. And now Marguerite is pregnant. So, we'll have two kids by the time the reunion rolls around. I work at a public relations firm in Washington, called Powell Tate/Weber Shandwick. I still find the time to play basketball once a week. I am a mechanic for Schindler Elevator and my wife and I own the Berkley Beach Tanning Salon. In the winter, my kids and I snowboard, in the spring/summer, myself, my daughter and two youngest boys do Motorcross at Milan Raceway.
